Innovative Hygiene Feet from VERMAY

Special hygiene feet are used wherever machines and equipment are subject to particularly strict hygiene regulations, as is the case, for example, in the food or spray sector. However, even in the non-food sector (as defined by EN 1672-2:2020), the use of certified machine feet may sometimes be required. For maximum hygienic cleanliness, our hygiene feet have the following features.

Easy cleanability

Thanks to a cleaning-friendly design of all components (Hygienic Design): Among other things, all movable components (such as the thread) of our hygiene feet are completely sealed during production (with the seals used being easily detectable by common scanning systems). This effectively prevents the accumulation of dirt, the growth of microorganisms, and the formation of biofilms. Additionally, the smooth surface of the material allows liquids to bead off effectively, further reducing the effort required for cleaning. Finally, the hygiene foot is equipped with extra non-slip and vibration-damping plastic seals towards the floor, which prevents bacteria from penetrating beneath the footplate.

Certifications:

All materials we use comply with the criteria set by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) of the United States for the highest hygiene standards and are therefore explicitly approved for use in the food industry. Additionally, our hygiene feet are certified with a DGUV certificate (No. NV 21058 from 16.03.202), and an EHEDG certificate is also in preparation.

Sustainability:

In addition to the hygienic aspects, VERMAY's certified machine feet also stand out in terms of sustainability. Thanks to their efficient design, they not only reduce water consumption but also minimize the required cleaning resources.
