Innovative hygienic feet from VERMAY

Wherever machines and equipment are subject to particularly strict hygiene regulations, such as in the food or spraying sectors, special hygienic feet are used. However, even in the non-food sector (as defined in EN 1672-2:2020), the use of certified machine feet may be necessary. To ensure maximum hygienic cleanliness, our hygienic feet have the following features.

Easy to clean

Thanks to the hygienic design of all components: Our hygienic feet are manufactured with all moving parts (such as threads) completely sealed (the seals used are easily detected by appropriate scanning systems). This directly prevents dirt from accumulating, microorganisms from growing and biofilms from forming. In addition, cleaning is further reduced because the smooth surface of the material allows liquids to drain effectively. Last but not least, to prevent bacteria from penetrating underneath the base plate, the hygienic base is equipped with additional non-slip and vibration-reducing plastic seals towards the floor.

All of the materials we use are specifically approved for use in the food industry and meet the highest hygienic standards set by the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration of the United States. Our hygienic feet are also DGUV-certified (No. NV 21058 dated 16.03.202) and EHEDG-certified is also pending.
