VERMAY GmbH & Co KG is looking for a full-time graduate engineer (m/f/d) with a degree in mechanical engineering, development and design, production engineering or a comparable field of study.

For more than three decades, VERMAY GmbH & Co KG has been an established manufacturer of machine and adjustable feet, primarily for machine and plant construction, apparatus engineering, trade fair construction and the furniture industry. Global corporations and medium-sized companies are among VERMAY’s well-known and long-standing customers. We have established ourselves as an innovative and reliable supplier on the German market with approximately 10 employees in various areas of metal processing (CNC machining, forming, welding).

Job description

You will be responsible for technical sales, using your technical expertise to help customers, either on your own initiative or by responding to customer enquiries relating to real estate. Your duties will include regular visits to customers and trade fairs, in addition to internal activities such as ongoing support for our existing customers and the acquisition of new customers. In addition, you will be involved in the design and further development of our standard products as well as customer-specific product developments. Preferably, you are able to read or create the necessary CAD drawings. In consultation with the production department, you will select the most suitable materials and production techniques. management.

Your profile

  • Preferably completed training in a metalworking profession (but not mandatory)
  • Graduate engineer M. Sc. (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical engineering, development and design, production engineering or comparable courses of study
  • Very good knowledge of one of the common CAD/CAM systems and all common MS Office programs
  • Independent work with merchandise management, ERP and CRM systems
  • Customer orientation, communication, initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and action
  • The ability to work in a team, reliability, conscientiousness, resilience, commitment and an independent, structured and orderly way of working round off your profile.
